BOCA RATON, Fla.--Tyco Fire & Security, a business unit of Tyco International, inked a decade-long lease extension for its headquarters here, continuing as the sole tenant of the 10-story building the company occupies.
To mark the decision to stay in the area, Tyco Fire & Security said it would donate two Scott Eagle X thermal imaging cameras to the Boca Raton Fire Department. Scott Health & Safety, a business of Tyco Fire & Security, manufactures life saving products that include respiratory protection systems and gas detection instruments.
Tyco Fire & Security's annual revenue is $11.4 billion, the unit has more than 60 brands and has a presence in approximately 100 countries. Dave Robinson serves as president of the business unit that employs 3,500 people in the South Florida area.
