UTC acquires Detection Logic Fire Protection

FARMINGTON, Conn.--UTC Fire & Security announced Jan. 8 the completion of the acquisition of Detection Logic Fire Protection, a provider of repair, service and inspection solutions to the life safety industry. Terms were not disclosed. UTC Fire & Security is a unit of United Technologies Corp.
Detection Logic Fire Protection is headquartered in California. It engineers, installs and services fire detection and protection systems for commercial building customers.
UTC Fire & Security, a business unit of United Technologies Corp., provides high technology products and services to the building and aerospace industries worldwide.
