UTC names new Lenel head Brief

FARMINGTON, Conn.--Dave Cunningham is the new head of Lenel Systems International, a developer of digital video monitoring technology. The company was purchased in 2005 by United Technologies Corp., and is a division of UTC Fire & Security, which also includes Kidde, Chubb and Onity. Cunningham was serving in UTC's Hamilton Sundstrand arm.
Cunningham will serve as vice president and general manager of Lenel, replacing former Lenel founders and owners Elena and Rudy Prokupets. The Prokupets will remain with Lenel to assist in the transition.
