Vector Security Acquires in Ohio

Content: PITTSBURGH—Vector Security has acquired American Alert Corp., based in Geneva, Ohio, Vector announced this week. The acquisition adds 5,000 customers and makes Vector a stronger player in the Ohio market, the company said.

Vector, based here, said American Alert was the leading security provider in Ashtabula County, serving the region for more than 20 years. Vector acquired the company's assets and employees along with the accounts.

“We welcome the team from Geneva and are happy to have them as part of Vector Security,” Pam Petrow, president and CEO of Vector Security, said in a prepared statement. “Together with the American Alert team, we look forward to sharing additional products, services and support that many American Alert customers have been seeking.”

Christine Longley, a nine-year veteran of Vector Security, will manage the American Alert branch, Vector said.

“This latest acquisition furthers our commitment to Ohio and positions us firmly for growth as we look to expand our security solutions into Cleveland and the surrounding areas,” Mike Brindley, VP of the west district for Vector Security, said in a statement. “We have very high customer satisfaction ratings across Ohio and will continue our dedication to provide exceptional customer experiences
in all of the markets we serve.”
