Viisage line implemented at Logan Airport

LITTLETON, Mass.-Viisage Technology announced that Logan International Airport is testing its face recognition solution to continue its efforts to enhance passenger security at the airport.

An initiative spearheaded by the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), Logan International has become the third airport in the nation to use Viisage's face recognition technology, joining Fresno International Airport and St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport.

Kalatel, GE/Interlogix has GSA Schedule
CORVALLIS, ORE.-As GE/Interlogix companies , Kalatel, as well as Aritech, Caddx, ESL, GBC, ITI and Supra are able to offer governmental agencies video surveillance and security systems through the Federal government's General Services Administration's Schedule. 

"Using the 539 Schedule reduces administrative time and makes ordering faster and easier," explains Darren Nicholson, Kalatel's national marketing manager. "For instance, Interlogix Authorized Government Service Providers can submit a total security solution that includes products from Kalatel as well as other Interlogix companies to meet a federal organization's needs."
