Viking and Marriott strike deal

Viking and Marriott strike deal Brief

KING OF PRUSSIA--Marriott International has certified Viking Electronic Services as an approved vendor for life and property protection, the company announced in April. "We're thrilled to be associated with such a fine name in the lodging industry," Michael C. Carter, vice president of sales and marketing said in a statement. Viking Electronic Services' analog-addressable fire alarm systems are well suited for mid- to large-scale installations and retrofits such as hotels and businesses and multi-building campuses, the eLAN Fire Alarm System, and its remote access software component, eSP Business Suite, offer comprehensive life and property coverage with easy-to-use remote programming and reporting access. "We're glad that they see the value in the fire alarm system technology that we alone can offer. Marriott was impressed with the ability to provide standardized system programming and the ability to view all of their properties online using eSP. They truly recognized Viking as the future of detection." Marriott has more than 2,800 properties worldwide. This deal will give Viking's dealer network the opportunity to expand the installation and servicing of Vikings' fire alarm systems and services to Marriott properties.
