MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.--VTI Security, a SecurityNet member based here with 110 employees in offices in Minnesota, Colorado, South Dakota and Wisconsin, announced in early May the completion of phase I of its 2007 "Technology Education" initiative, aimed at obtaining higher level skill sets for its employees. During the month of April, four employees in the IT and engineering area obtained their CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification training, while an additional 13 engineers and field technicians received their Network Plus Certification training. "This is a strategic initiative to upgrade the skill sets for our IT staff, engineers, project managers and field technicians," said Bryan Viau, VTI's executive vice president, in a supplied statement.
