Welcome back - ISC East heads to

August 28, 2003 New York NEW YORK - ISC East is making a return to New York in 2004, ending a three-year hiatus from the Big Apple. Reed Exhibitions, managers of the ISC Shows and this year’s National Summit on Security, announced the location decision this week. The show is scheduled for Nov. 2 – 4, 2004 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. The return to New York comes after the ISC East show moved to Orlando, Fla. in 2002. This year’s event, dubbed National Summit on Security, will be held in Washington Oct. 1-3. The location changes have allowed Reed’s security show to capitalize on the evolving security market, said Dean Russo, vice president of ISC Events for Reed. “The rotating venue strategy has allowed us to seize opportunities when they arise, such as the D.C. venue this year and the opportunity to re-connect with a (New York) audience after a three year absence,” he said. The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association has also endorsed the move to New York for 2004. The association will hold its 2004 Fall Conference in conjunction with the ISC East New York event.
