Wren adds access control

ATLANTA—Wren, a provider of video management solutions since 1983, announced this week it will offer IP access control solutions as well. Wren Access Control Software is being pitched as an intuitive, web-based application that integrates with the IT network and enables easy access and control of the entire system. The software is coupled with hardware from manufacturers that include HID and Assa Abloy.

“Our customers were clamoring for a single-source provider of video and access control solutions,” said Andrew Wren, president of Wren, in a statement. “They can now access turnkey solutions including software, hardware, installation, support and training.”

Wren is expanding its line of software products to provide enterprise-level security management. The launch of Wren's Access Control Software comes only a month after the launch of Encapsulon Assessment for Schools, a tool that helps schools comprehensively assess security and safety risks.
