Pinnacle's in the dog house

Pinnacle Security is in the dog house again. This time, it's the Illinois Attorney General who's peeved. The Illinois AG's office announced Oct. 27 that it's suing Pinnacle, the Orem, Utah-based summer model company, for purposely deceiving customers to make a sale, putting the company in violation of the state's consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. It's asking the court for $50K in civil penalties and an additional $50K penalty for each violation committed with the intent to defraud. And that's not all, it's seeking an additional $10K for each violation committed against a senior citizen 65 years of age or older. I'll be talking to Pinnacle's counsel, Lance Lenhof, this week. I'll let you know their side of the story then.
