A report from IMS Research indicated future growth in the access control market due to the impact of Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12, which will standardize access control to government facilities.
The global market for IP-based access control systems is predicted to experience strong growth in the next five years, due largely to a U.S. government initiative, according to a December report released by IMS Research entitled, “The World Market for Electronic Physical Access Control Equipment.”
