IBM exec to join Tyco board

ADT’s parent company, Tyco International, issued a press release today saying that Michael Daniels, 55, SVP of the Global Technology Services group at IBM, has been nominated to join the Tyco board.
Daniels would replace Jerome York, chief executive officer of Harwinton Capital, who is retiring from the board. The replacement will be voted on at the March meeting.
Daniels has been with IBM since 1976. At IBM, he has worldwide responsibility for IBM’s Global Services business operations consisting of outsourcing services, integrated technology services, maintenance, and business services, as well as IBM Global Financing.
