Aiphone unveils MK audio/video entry system

The MK audio/video entry security system from Aiphone is expandable for up to two door stations and three room monitor stations. The monitor station provides a clear, crisp image of a visitor in black and white, as well as door release.

Options for door stations include vandal-resistant, pan-and-tilt, wide-angle lenses and dual-call type.

Linear’s telephone entry system enables up to 250 users

The new AE-500 Telephone Entry system from Linear provides full duplex telephone communications through hands-free operation and controls either one or two doors via touch tone telephone.

Local programming is handled via a keypad. Remote programming can be done through a standard web browser or a touch-tone telephone. An integral 318 MHz receiver enables use with remote control transmitters.

Jeron announces Clearplex digital communication technology

Jeron Electronic Systems has unveiled its new Clearplex technology designed to deliver the advantages of hands-free operation using full digital duplex communication.

Clearplex incorporates digital signal processing technology, which automatically adjusts loudspeaker levels. It is intended for use in environments with excessive background noise. Clearplex is available for Jeron’s Spectrum 430/460 digital intercom systems.

Aiphone introduces new substations

Aiphone Corp. has released vandal- and weather-resistant substations for its open voice intercoms and lamp memory systems.

Constructed of 12-gauge stainless steel, the substations can be mounted into a standard two-gauge box or electrical box. The speakers are moisture- and puncture-resistant and are covered with layers of steel baffle to protect them from tampering.

Federal Signal announces re-tooled speakers

Federal Signal has re-engineered its SelecTone amplified speakers and AudioMaster public address speakers for use in Type 4X applications.

In addition to the 4X rating, the SelecTone and AudioMaster speakers are both UL-listed for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations. The revamped speakers are designed to allow end users to standardize on one speaker for a variety of applications, including indoor/outdoor and hose-down.

Speco announces new PA amplifiers

Speco Technologies has rolled out its P-60FACD and P-60FACC public address amplifiers designed for commercial applications.

The new amplifiers feature four microphone inputs, priority paging with auto mute function and a telephone paging output. The units are available with the option of either a built-in CD player or cassette player, and are available in 30-watt versions as well.

Talk-A-Phone rolls out broadcast system

Talk-A-Phone is introducing WEBS, its Wide-Area Emergency Broadcast System. The system integrates its ADA compliant Emergency Phones and Wide-Area Emergency Broadcast capability into a single 15-foot tower. The tower also has a Blue Light/Strobe on top that is continuously lit to indicate the location of the Tower.
