HAI’s Vanishing Mini Contact

HAI has expanded its HAI Wireless line with a Wireless Vanishing Door/Window Contact (HAI Part Number 57A00-1). This new part is now shipping. The Vanishing Door/Window Contact Transmitter has beveled edges that vanishes into any decor. It features a bypass button that allows you to manually bypass the transmitter, which automatically restores when the magnet is replaced. This Vanishing Door/Window Contact transmitter requires the use of HAI 64 Zone Wireless Receiver (HAI Part Number 45A00-1).

ASSA ABLOY’s v.S2 lockset

The Profile Series v.S2 incorporates wireless technology, allowing this standalone lockset to connect with a network access control system. The new SARGENT lockset offers centralized monitoring and control of facility locks, all while reducing installation time. Utilizing the 802.11 Wi-Fi technology, the product eliminates the need to hardwire every opening. While most wireless access control devices can take up to eight hours, installation for the v.S2 takes about an hour. Each lock accommodates 2000 users and features a 10,000 event audit trail.

SDi’s Deafgard wire-free solution

Deafgard is a wire-free solution for communicating the sounding of a fire alarm to deaf and hard of hearing people. The mobile bedside unit incorporates a high-intensity strobe and a connected vibrator pad, that when placed under the pillow, vibrates upon the sounding of the fire alarm and in doing so wakes the sleeper along with the rest of the household. Deafgard will be on display at the SDi Booth along with company’s range of detector test tools and other fire accessories.
