Axis’ Q1755 Network Camera

The AXIS Q1755 Network Camera is one of the first surveillance cameras to fulfill the SMPTE standard for HDTV in resolution and frame rate, HDTV 720P and HDTV 1080i, providing live video at 30 frames per second in 2 megapixel resolution, using H264 compression. AXIS Q1755 also has standard PAL/NTSC video out for adjustment of field of view. It also has HDTV video out true standard RCA connectors for connection to any standard HDTV set. The camera also has a 10x optical zoom as well as 4x digital zoom, for a total zoom of 40x.

NAPCO’s iSee Video EOP

Napco Security Group, Inc., has unveiled iSee Video EOP, a subscription-based camera kit that allows consumers to view their businesses and/or homes anytime, from anywhere in the world, on a PC or Web-enabled cell phone. The kit uses motion detection to capture video to record. End-users set the date and time on which to activate the pixel-based motion detector to record. Once video begins recording, consumers can choose to view real-time video or archived events.
