Senstar-Stellar reintroduces Repels

Senstar-Stellar has announced the reintroduction of Repels, a portable, re-deployable perimeter intrusion detection security sensor.

Repels creates an invisible electromagnetic detection zone along the path of two parallel wires. It can be installed in any terrain and can handle perimeters of any shape.

In addition to military applications, its commercial applications include the protection of construction sites, event security and various law enforcement uses.

Designed Security releases new turnstile line

Designed Security has added mechanical turnstiles to its line of access management solutions.

Model choices range from the Classic and Mini-Classic Series of mechanical turnstiles to the Millennium Series. The turnstiles are compatible with major access control systems and are field configurable for a variety of functions. The units will monitor traffic flow of up to 20 people per minute, per lane while sensor and mechanical systems ensure only one person enters for each valid card.

Gunnebo Omega introduces ImmSec

Gunnebo Omega has unveiled ImmSec. The ImmSec is designed to automate immigration inspection protocols at border crossing points such as airports, sea ports and international railway terminals. ImmSec is available in standard or wide lane configuration to meet global disabled user regulations. By using T-DAR technology to perform personnel detection, it allows ImmSec to detect a single person or persons fraudulently attempting to violate immigration security protocols.

AMAG upgrades its Global Edition access control software

AMAG Technology has upgraded its AMAG Global Edition software. AMAG’s Global Edition is designed for organizations with geographically dispersed facilities. Equipped with AMAG Global Edition, security executives can provide each site or region in their company with independent access control systems that can be monitored and managed centrally through a single cardholder database.

Porta-King unveils mobile trailer unit for perimeter security

Porta-King Building Systems has made available its mobile trailer units for providing immediate solutions to perimeter or airport security.

Porta-King’s TRL model meets the need for an elevated security presence. It can be used as a vehicle security checkpoint near an airport entrance. Traffic to the airport is topped and a vehicle inspection is made, before the vehicle is allowed to enter the area around the airport terminal.

Viking offers new accessible entry system

Viking Electronics has unveiled the Viking Accessible Entry System AES-2000. The system incorporates the EZ Access System to provide interactive visual, tactile and audible instructions to the user. The AES-2000 uses handsfree communication, but if needed tenants and visitors may use TTY/TDD text telephones.

The product is programmed with a Windows compatible PC by connecting the interface to a personal computer. The software will allow multiple buildings to be supervised by a single PC.

Videx’s announces the CyberLock Authorizer

Videx’s CyberKey Authorizer brings network and modem capabilities to the Cyberlock access control system. The Authorizer allows management to control access and audit remote site activity from a central location. Users can receive their access privileges and entry authorization daily at the exterior of a building by inserting their key into the Authorizer. The system’s software provides exception reports and notification of at-risk events by e-mail.

Corbin Russware introduces the Access 800 series

Corbin Russware Architectural Hardware has unveiled the Access 800 series, a full range of standalone access control products suited for institutional, commercial and industrial applications.

The motorized, battery-operated keyless entry system is programmable at the keypad or via software for enhanced features including time zones, user database and proxy card access. The Access 800 series is available in a variety of functions and in 100 or 2000 user versions.
