DoorKing unveils telephone entry system

DoorKing's 1802-EPD Telephone Entry System is designed for entry sites with up to 100 tenants. The system features a built-in electronic directory and two relays for door/gate control. The large A, Z and call buttons make it easy for visitors to find a tenant by scrolling through the directory. Once the tenants name is displayed, a simple push of the call button establishes communication.

Amag unveils network controller

Amag Technology's Symmetry Edge Network Controller is an IP-centric solution that provides distributed intelligence at the door.
It uses Power over Ethernet, providing up to 700 mA of power for each reader and lock, therefore eliminating a separate power supply.
The controller supports up to 50,000 cardholders and 10,500 offline transactions, and requires Symmetry Security Management software version 6.1 or later for Symmetry Business, Professional, Enterprise or Homeland to operate.

Altronix releases StrikeIt1

The StrikeIt1 Panic Device Power Controller from Altronix independently or simultaneously powers and controls two panic hardware devices with high inrush requirements.
It includes 12VDC and 24VDC outputs plus built-in timed door release, fire alarm interface, outputs for activation of automatic door operators and built-in battery charger.

ISONAS PowerNet IP Reader-Controllers

ISONAS has released its PowerNet IP Reader-Controller, a panel-free, IP door reader with built-in Power over Ethernet. It comes bundled with the latest Cyrstal Matrix Software, enabling plug-and-play functionality and can be configured to read a variety of HID cards. According to ISONAS, the use of Power over Ethernet can reduce installation labor and wiring costs by 30 percent over traditional panel-based systems. The new reader also incorporates an RJ45 plug with network activity lights, a power reset button, a power selector, and output power for the electronic lock.
