Cernium releases Perceptrak 4.0

Video analytic manufacturer Cernium has announced a new release of its flagship intelligent video system, Perceptrak. Version 4.0 expands the capabilities of Cernium's 3.0-series with new customer-driven features such as simplified setup and reconfiguration, expanded IP-camera compatibility and "edge of the network" bandwidth management options. Perceptrak is driven by Cernium's patented Perception Based Analytics technology, which mimics the human vision process to offer efficient video analysis.

Integral announces new DigitalSENTRY software

Integral Technologies has released version 4.0 of its DigitalSENTRY Digital Video Management Systems software. With it, users will experience new support for IP PTZ and MPEG-4 cameras. This version not only powers the company's latest DS RealVue products, but also integrates with all of Integral's existing DigitalSENTRY product modules. It is based on the Windows XP Pro operating system.

Mitsubishi unveils new generation of DVRs

Building upon its enterprise-class DX-TL5000U DVR, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America has announced a new generation of DVRs that boost hard drive recording capacity and ease of use. The new DX-TL5000U features up to 150 percent more recording capacity and a new user interface. The new generation comes in three storage capacities, 1, 1.6 and 2 Terrabytes. With 16 cameras connected in standard mode at one frame per second, the largest model will hold 69 days of footage.

MDI announces ONE Unified Technology

MDI securitysystems has debuted its ONE Unified Technology, what the company is billing as the only open architecture command and control operating system available on the market. It unifies security point products, systems and subsystems into a common management platform, delivering an open architecture environment that adapts each individual application and device into its structure, promoting global collaboration as a single system.

Bosch VIDOS software added

Bosch Security Systems has added the VIDOS Pro Software Suite to its VIDOS Video Management System for IP-based CCTV surveillance installations. The modular suite makes VIDOS scalable to different-sized applications, extending the abilities of the VIDOS system. It can now create a brand-new CCTV system or migrate an analog system to IP. The software allows various user authorization levels, privilege allocation for different cameras and priorities for PTZ control, image viewing and playback.
