SDC unveils electrified cylindrical lock with REX output

SDC's new Z7200 ANSI Grade 1 electrified cylindrical lockset now comes standard witha SPDT request-to-exit output. Users can choose between failsafe and failsecure modes and the lock comes with dual 12/24 VDC input. All handle styles are ADA compliant and can be used with access control or key entry. SDC locksets are UL listed and approved for use on three-hour fire rated doors.

Dortonics introduces stand-alone digital keypad controls

With its new 8112 Series digital keypads, Dortronics now offers keypads to control independent doors and gates that can be programmed from the front panel, without need of a separate programmer. There is also an outdoor version, 8112WR. The keypads can also be used to activate panic alarms, and they include 120 valid user codes with restrictions for specific time access, activation of lights or cameras prompted by the programming and the ability to generate real-time audit trails using an optional printer interface.

Dortronics launches the 5141W/2-5287 face plate

Dortronics' newest key-switch panel, the 5141W/2-5287, features a key-operated mortise cylinder switch with two well-marked push-button exit releases. It's rated for heavy-duty usage, constructed of 1/8" aluminum and a push-button housing of cast aluminum. Key operation is removable in either or both positions, and the push-button assembly includes 10-amp momentary action SPDT contact outputs.

Smarter Security adds Fastlane GlassWing

Adding to their Fastlane speedgate line of products, Smarter Security Systems has introduced the Fastlane GlassWing. The GlassWing features glass barriers that recess into the pedestals for authorized personnel, along with .25" tailgater detection. Fastlane products all feature a microprocessor that is programmed with neural network algorithms. Intruders are thus identified, but non-human objects are ignored.

Marks USA introduces mortise locks with latch and deadbolt

The cast stainless steel latch and deadbolt from Marks USA standardized the ANSI grade one mortise locks. The latch is assembled with steel friction proof fingers enabling reduced pressure to close the door. The deadbolt is constructed with two hardened steel pins.

Ingersoll-Rand updates Schlage security software

The Schlage Security Management System software from Ingersoll-Rand now comes in four levels: express, select, professional and elite. The software supports any desired combinations of online and offline readers, including offline programmable locks and online systems including Schlage Wyreless Access and hardwired VIP open architecture locks.

SDC introduces Civic Series digital lockset

SDC’s Civic Series E72-32 is an indoor/outdoor standalone digital lockset designed for entry-level applications. The lockset's features include keypad programmability, 32 user codes, three to 10-digit code length, temporary and multiple management, and user groups. Its mechanical features include a 16-button alphanumeric keypad, a weatherized heavy-duty solid die cast housing and choice of cylindrical or mortise ANSI Grade one heavy-duty lockset.

Tane Alarm Products rolls out track mounted

The Tane-66 track mounted over-head door contact from Tane Alarm Products enables installers to install a commercial grade contact. The unit attaches to the roller track of a door. It has an adjustable magnet side that can be attached in a variety of ways for maximum gap. The Tane-66 comes with an anti-kinking armored cable.
