DIRAK launches quarter-turn latch

The Snap-Line quarter-turn from DIRAK incorporates D-Snap technology, which requires no screws or tools for installation in electronic enclosure applications. The quarter-turn latch comes pre-assembled to install as a single unit on a prepared panel. The D-Snap housing holds a spring-loaded set of wings designed to snap into position to hold the quarter-turn firmly in the panel.

Security Door Controls provides Selectric lockset conversions

Selectric lockset conversions from Security Door Controls include the electrification of all major brand mechanical locksets, including Schlage, Yale, Corbin-Russwin, Sargent, Best, and Arrow.
The Selectric locks meet all building and fire code requirements where electric strikes and magnetic locks are prohibited, including elevator lobbies and stairwell doors. The units feature selectable fail secure options. The locks come in 12 or 24VDC and include monitoring and REX outputs.

Saflok releases InSync electronic lock series

The InSync from Saflok offers proximity technology to operate a lock without hard contact between lock and key. The lock uses an RF key to communicate through encrypted radio frequency waves. The locks are suitable for residential and common area doors. Each time a lock communicates with a key this exchange of information is stored for later audit.

Seco-larm intros electromagnetic gatelock

Seco-larm U.S.A has introduced the Enforcer 943FC-1300, an electromagnetic gatelock that provides 1,300 pounds of holding force. The Enforcer's factory-sealed design makes it water-resistant as well as impervious to vandals. It features a four-wire hook-up for 12 VDC or 24 VDC and a six-foot, five-inch cable leading from a standard dual-threaded conduit fitting. HES unveils dual action lock

HES Inc. is introducing its model 1006, a dual-action solenoid that incorporates dual coils and opposing plungers for maximum strength and reliability. A interlocking plunger design provides the highest level of tamper resistance available. The 1006 was factory tested to exceed 3,000 lbs. static strength and over 2,000,000 cycles of operation, twice the cycle life of the 1003 series and three times the cycle life its strongest competitor.

Yale intros cylindrical lock

The Yale 5418LN Classroom Intruder includes features such as double cylinders that allow locking from inside and out, preventing exposure to teacher and students in an emergency. When locked from either side, exit from the inside is always possible by simply turning the lever. And unlike typical classroom door cylindrical locks, the outside lever will remain locked upon exiting.

Corbin Russwin releases classroom cylindrical lock

Corbin Russwin Architectural Hardware introduces the CL3352 Classroom Intruder cylindrical lockset. Keyed on both sides, the CL3352 allows locking from both inside and out, preventing exposure of teachers and students while securing classroom facilities.

Exit is always possible from inside, regardless of whether the door is locked or unlocked. This anti-panic feature maintains safety and security by keeping the outside lever locked if the inside lever is actuated.

Locknetics offers new exit bar

Locknetics' 672 REX TouchBar is a non-latching exit bar that releases electromagnetic locks and/or signals access control and alarm systems for request to exit.

The 672 offers 1/4 inch movement activates the switch, providing immediate magnet release and egress. The pushpad comes with red, green or white "PUSH TO EXIT" letters.

An optional upgrade to a lighted version is available.

It is available in 36, 42 and 48 inch lengths and in three finishes. Special factory-cut lengths are also available.
