The 5100 Electric Strike from Von Duprin is designed for medium-duty appplications to control traffic flow through interior and exterior openings in retail and commercial environments.

Corbin Russwin adds exit device

The Corbin Russwin ED5000 Series IK (INTELLIKEY) exit device features a controller concealed in the exit device assembly, eliminating the surface-mounted or mortised controller.

The controller connects easily to the cylinder in the heavy-duty trim; no special wire transfers or hinges are needed.

Features of the System 4000 Controller include life-span key control, audit trail with 1,000 history records, auditing of keys and controller and daylight savings time.

The Access Controller is compatible with Rim, SecureBolt, Mortise, CVR and SVR ED5000 Series devices.

Yale debuts SecureX delayed egress exit device

Yale's new SecureX is a delayed-egress exit device used to secure interior or exterior openings. When armed, it delays egress for 15 or 30 seconds upon depression of a push pad. Once the delay cycle is timed out, the device releases for egress; however, it remains armed to sound an alarm until reset.

SecureX combines heavy-duty construction and contemporary design with an electronics system. The self-contained, easy-to-install exit device package is suited for commercial applications including retail stores, hospitals, nursing homes and airports.

Schlage releases E-Bolt

Schlage's E-Bolt Key Management System is an electronically controlled dead-bolt that limits entry to unsecured areas. It can be programmed to accept only specific keys, with access granted only on specific days or times. The E-Bolt deadbolts record the date, time and key identity of each valid access.

Flair intros door contact

Flair Security Products is introducing the 1000-98Z overhead door (floor) contact, which can be used when replacing a defective door switch to eliminate the difficulties of differing mounting holes.

Norton debuts 7900/7970 overhead concealed closers

In situations where a closer is needed but concealment in the frame header is required or desired, the Norton 7900 closer is designed for door control.

Once installed, only the solid one-piece arm is visible when the door is open for vandal resistance for applications where concealment is required and security is the main concern.

Hammersley debuts Totalock frame

The Totalock frame security system from Hammersley's Engineering Services consists of continuous steel channels down both vertical edges of the door. As the door closes, the hinged side swings back into a steel recess, protecting the hinge from attack. A full height steel locking bar slides into place across the face of the door to provide the second steel channel. The 3mm steel frame locks and secures the door in place to further restrict unwanted access.
