Seco-larm releases new door strikes

Seco-larm introduced its new 24-volt electronic door strike for metal doors. The SD-995C24 converts cylindrical lock sets to an electronic access control locking system. The company billed the unit as especially suitable for office-type applications.

The SD-995C24 has CE approval, and has been tested to one million cycles. It can easily be connected to Seco-larm'S SK983A Electronic Keyped. The unit can be field-programmed in seconds for fail-safe operation.

Steelcraft launches new door system

Steelcraft, a division of IR Commercial Security and Safety, introduced the Paladin Severe Weather Door System to protect against destructive forces of nature. With a lock-edge reinforcement and crush-and-bend resistant stiffeners, the Paladin door withstands wind-load pressure of more than 1.75 psi.

RCI launches branded strikes

Rutherford Controls International offers its own branded strikes.

The RCI 4 series strikes are compatible with a wide variety of lock and frame types. Fail locked F4 series is designed for single or pairs of fire labeled openings, while H4 is for heavy duty, high traffic applications, where fail unlocked mode is required.

The RCI 7 series strikes provide adjustability for precise lock alignment in retrofit applications. The 2 series, for mortise locks with offset latches, and 0 series strikes for RIM Exit Devices, are available under the RCI brand name.

SDC offers redesigned 1500 Series EMLock

All SDC 1500 series Emlocks are redesigned to provide uniform construction of all holding forces, advanced quick-mount assembly and superior aesthetics. Twelve-hundred-pound and 1,650-pound holding force locks utilize identical housings and installation templating.

All parts, including the coil winding, are replaceable without removing the lock from the frame. Options and parts may be added or replaced by the distributor, installer or end user.
