Five Questions: Greg Peninger


Greg Peninger was recently hired as Dynamark Security Centers’ director of sales for the southern region of the United States, which covers from Texas to Florida. Peninger’s role will cover account management as well as growing within the territory. He is based outside of Austin, Texas. Peninger has been in the industry for more than 20 years and has owned his own security and home automation company. In late January, Security Systems News asked him five questions.

Stephen Grein was recently hired as director, Enterprise Solutions, for Guidepost Solutions LLC, a Dallas-based company specializing in compliance, investigations, and security and technology consulting. Grein brings his extensive experience in technology, business expansion strategies, development of engineering solutions, and high-level contract negotiation to the firm. His systems experience includes video systems, cybersecurity, networking equipment and vital network services. Security Systems News asked him five questions.

Jennifer A. Theobald recently joined the senior leadership team of Rapid Security Solutions, LLC as vice president of operations. Theobald most recently was a business development manager for Axis Communications; her other credentials include sales, project management and operations positions at Bold Technologies, Milestone Systems and Rapid Response Monitoring. Security Systems News asked her five questions.

Surveillance Systems Inc., a commercial integrator based in Rocklin, Calif., recently brought on Daniel Jackson to be director of technical sales, where he not only designs and sells systems but is involved in tech support and overall account management. Security Systems News asked Jackson five questions.

Jack Sigler was recently hired to the role of national director, Security Systems and Engineering, for Allied Universal, a $5.1 billion security company with more than 150,000 employees. Based in the company’s Richardson, Texas, office, he oversees the national sales team for the Monitoring and Response Center (MaRC). Security Systems News recently asked Sigler five questions.

Eric Thompson began working for Securitas Electronic Security in April as a talent acquisition specialist, where he focuses on staffing needs throughout every function of the organization. With Securitas growing, Thompson said he has the opportunity to “work with some exceptionally talented people,” onboarding sales professionals and service technicians. Security Systems News asked him five questions.

Five Questions: Rob Driscoll


Rob Driscoll was recently promoted at Koorsen Fire & Security to the role of director, business integration. Driscoll, who is now entering his 13th year with the company, will now be focused on acquisitions, national account work and contract negotiations. “We’re primarily a fire protection company,” he said. “Security, however, has been … the fastest segment of growth probably over the last 10 years or so.” Security Systems News caught up with Driscoll in early April to ask him five questions.

Mike Wells, who has been with Midwest Alarm Services for 13 years, was recently promoted to business development manager. He is responsible for managing the direct sales staff in Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois and Nebraska for life safety products and services. Wells holds a NICET level II in fire alarm. Security Systems News asked him five questions.
