Matrix founder’s sons return to tackle financial troubles

CENTERVILLE, Ohio - A systems integrator who ran into some financial troubles under the direction of former management is now getting back on track, after the two sons of the founder of Matrix Systems have rejoined the company and its day-to-day operations.

The trouble began earlier this year when the state of Ohio levied a lien against the company for unpaid taxes and AT&T and Fifth Third Bank filed lawsuits claiming unpaid bills.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - To add a piece to its security officer complement in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, area, Per Mar Security Services has purchased competitor Nighthawk Security for an undisclosed sum.

With Nighthawk, a five-year-old company, according to Bill Jackson, president of Per Mar Security, comes 60 security officers based in Nighthawk’s Cedar Rapids office.

Electrical firm turns on the lights, creates a new security division

BOSTON - City Lights Electrical has been installing integrated security systems for 14 years, but now the company has established a separate security division to focus on this side of the business.

The new business unit, called Intelligent Systems, or iSYS for short, was spun-off earlier this year.

Siemens appoints security president
