DALLAS--In an effort to offer around-the-clock monitoring for its commercial clients, for the first time SYSTEMSgroup will open two redundant security operations centers in Houston and Fort Worth, Texas, this fall.
A subsidiary of SAFEguard Security Holdings (see "SAFEguard continues growth," in the July issue of Security Systems News), SYSTEMSgroup has designed and developed control centers and operational procedures for organizations with unique security needs for more than 15 years.
WINNIPEG, Manitoba--For more than 25 years, AAA Alarm Systems has been in the same building, but last year, after the company experienced a growth spurt by acquiring more than 55,000 accounts in February, the company knew a move would be the next step.
"We knew that if we kept on that [acquisition] road," the company would outgrow the facility, "so we really needed to start again from scratch," said Kim Schellenberg, the monitoring center director who also served as project manager for the construction of the new facility.
MINNEAPOLIS--HSM Electronic Protection Services will relocate its Protection Net Center to a new facility here this month, which will be the last step for HSM in separating from its former parent company, Honeywell.
"This has been the last real estate that we have co-occupied," said Don Young, the chief information officer at HSM.
SEATTLE-- The Central Station Alarm Assocation fall operation management seminar will be held October 15 through 17 at the Marriott Sea-Tac Airport here.
