CHICAGO-Kastle Systems' office here has increased its sales force to further develop relationships with tenants, builders and architects, according to the company's Chicago branch general manager, Marilyn Brooks. The additions take the office's employee roster to 22, nearly tripling its staff in the last four years.

Gillmore boosts commercial biz

CLEVELAND-A small acquisition of a smaller security firm here has given Gillmore Security a boost in its commercial sector, with the addition of a sizeable local commercial account as well as about 100 others.

With the purchase of Security Options Plus, Cleveland-based Gillmore now has about 5,000 accounts, all of which are monitored through its central station housed in its headquarters.

The move from a privately held company to a publicly traded one is expected to raise capital for the access control manufacturer to promote a new product called MESH.
