NEW YORK—The World Trade Center security team of engineers from Ducibella, Venter & Santore and integrators from Diebold spend a lot of time together.
They have official meetings at least twice a week to track progress. Since the collaboration began early this spring, long days have been the norm. And, with the Sept. 11 opening of the Memorial site approaching, longer days along with unofficial dinner and breakfast meetings are increasingly common.

Intertech expands into Texas

PITTSBURGH—Systems integrator Intertech announced Sept. 2 that it has moved west of the Mississippi for the first time, opening an office in Houston.
“A number of our clients (including energy companies involved with natural gas drilling in Pennsylvania) have operations in Texas. Previously, we’ve used contractors to help us complete projects down there,” said Matt Petnuch, Intertech VP sales and marketing.

ST. LOUIS—Interface Security Systems is in the process of completing the installation of a secure managed cloud services project for the entire Dollar General 9,500-store retail chain. While terms of the deal were not released, Interface CEO Michael Shaw told Security Systems News that the Dollar General multi-year contract is “expected to generate in excess of $100 million in top-line revenue for Interface.”

The attorney representing ADT clients from California, Illinois and elsewhere in the lawsuit says the fees violate federal and state consumer protection laws.
