Frisco Bay targets growth in Western Canadian regions

REGINA, Saskatchewan - It’s been more than three years since systems integrator Frisco Bay opened its last branch, but a new location in Saskatchewan is ending that drought.
The company added an office in the province of Saskatchewan as part of its plan to expand its reach in the Western Canadian market and better serve customers in the Regina area.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - A road tour is now under way to educate people about the National Systems Contractors Association’s EST Training Series and its new certification program, which has received federal approval as an apprenticeship program.

The tour is scheduled to stop in six cities - Orlando; Portland, Ore.

DENVER - For years security cooperative PSA Security Network has conducted its annual conference and trade show separately from others, but that will change in 2004 when the organization combines its conference with the National Systems Contractors Association’s annual event.

The two groups recently inked deals to bring their events together next year in Las Vegas, March 19 to 21.

Honeywell wins Dallas airport job

DALLAS - Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions Services has won an $8 million project to supply and install its life safety system at the Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport, a project being billed as one of the largest integrated fire systems in an airport.

The contract award came at the end of March, after several months of work by Honeywell to engineer and design the project.

Firms join to create APi Elec.

They now share a single office and plan to expand in the security market
