SAN DIEGO--Wireless Facilities won a contract to provide 3-D imaging software to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, one of the largest cargo airports in the world.
The company's product, Tactical Survey, is a computer-based application that provides 360-degree images of any facility, including hallways and storage areas.

National accounts gets green light

Nortronics to upgrade security at housing complex

NEW YORK--Systems integrator Nortronics signed a contract late last month to upgrade the access control and security system at Southbridge Towers, a housing complex in Manhattan's South Street Seaport district.
Nortronics will replace the buildings' intercom system with a telephone access system that will enable residents to admit a visitor to their building with a few keystrokes on a telephone keypad.

MIAMI--In response to a booming housing market and in turn a growing security company, Global Security Products relocated to a larger facility in southern Miami that enables it to keep up with its influx in business.
The new, 3,000-square-foot facility provides room for additional technicians and more warehouse space.

Initial's guard division buys N.Y. biz

NEW YORK--Initial Security, the guard counterpart to Initial Electronics, recently bought fellow guard company OCS Security in a move that strengthens its reach in the New York metropolitan market.
For Initial Security, the June deal triples the size of its business in the Northeast, according to Randal Dorn, chief executive officer and president of Initial Security's U.
