IRVING, Texas—The Electronic Security Association (ESA) has launched a new partnership with subcontractor sourcing platform nFACT aimed at helping security integrators address labor challenges while increasing their visibility to potential service partners.
Under the agreement, nFACT will serve as ESA's preferred technology partner for subcontractor search and sourcing, providing association members with access to a national marketplace designed to connect buyers with qualified low-voltage and life-safety service providers.
According to data cited by ESA from a 2025 National Center for Construction Education and Research workforce survey, 45% of construction firms reported project delays resulting from shortages among their own workforce or among subcontractors.
"As these labor constraints continue to affect project delivery across the skilled trades, ESA members need faster, more reliable ways to identify qualified service partners," said Jillian Bateman-McIntosh, ESA's chief operating officer. "This partnership reflects our attention on delivering practical, business-building value to our members."
The nFACT marketplace includes a database of more than 24,000 service providers nationwide and supports sourcing across electronic security, fire and life safety, audiovisual, telecommunications, network infrastructure, electrical and building management disciplines.
For ESA members, the partnership introduces several new benefits designed to improve discoverability and differentiate providers in the marketplace.
Verified ESA member companies will receive an ESA Member designation on their nFACT profiles, while companies employing ESA-trained and certified technicians will be eligible to display an additional badge recognizing their workforce training investments.
The badges will also be incorporated into nFACT's search and recommendation tools, allowing buyers and integrators to filter for ESA-affiliated companies and providers that employ ESA-trained personnel.
In addition, eligible ESA members will receive a 15% discount on qualifying nFACT subscription services and access to complimentary onboarding assistance, including profile setup and licensing documentation support.
"nFACT was built to bring greater trust, transparency and efficiency to service provider sourcing," said Mark Bono, CEO and co-founder of nFACT. "By partnering with ESA, we are helping integrators identify companies that are actively engaged in the electronic security and life safety industry and committed to raising the standard for service delivery."
