Mission 500 corporate responsibility, humanitarian awards

MIAMI—Residential security and home automation provider Fluent Home, based in Edmondton, Alberta, Canada, has received the 2015 Mission 500 Corporate Social Responsibility Award.

Mission 500 is a charitable organization that works with the security industry to sponsor children in need through World Vision.

Fluent has made significant contributions every year to communities and charities around the world. Fluent employees make annual charity trips and also contribute to projects financially. Their most recent project was in the Philippines, where they rebuilt and re-landscaped an elementary school that had been damaged by hurricanes and earthquakes.

The recipient of the 2015 Mission 500 Humanitarian Award is Anne Glickstein, a trainer for Protection 1 in Dallas.

Glickstein works once a quarter at the Dallas Salvation Army to prepare and serve lunch. She has contributed to multiple charities in the Dallas-Forth Worth area and to a Little League team that didn't have money to buy cleats. She has volunteered at food banks and for clothing drives and toy drives. She also packs care packages monthly for the Military Moms group.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony at ISC West.
