Ashland City to require sprinklers Brief

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn.-- The Ashland City Times reported that the Cheatham County Commission unanimously passed an ordinance requiring automatic sprinklers for all new construction outside city limits throughout the county. Under the new rule, some commercial and multi-family units that are altered or enlarged may be required to have sprinklers in part or all of the building. The resolution doesn't affect any existing homeowners.
