Candid camera helps nab burglar Brief

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--Jacksonville police had the assistance of a videotape from a home surveillance system while they worked to apprehend a burglar here.
After her home was broken into four times, Claudia Laster, of Turton Avenue, installed an alarm system with a surveillance camera. On Sept. 19, the camera caught a burglar as he approached the home, broke in and then made off with a DVD player.
Photos of the burglar were released to the local media. Police apprehended a suspect on October 12, said Sergeant Brian Richardson of the Jacksonville Police Department.
