Cynthia Johnson brings multiple relationships to deister

MANASSAS, Va.—Deister Electronics U.S.A. on March 22 announced Cynthia Johnson had joined the company's sales organization as regional director, south. This addition is part of deister's re-structuring of its organization to support marketing efforts launched in 2009 designed to better service customers on a regional basis. Johnson, known throughout the security industry as a power closer, brings relationships with security executives at FedEx, Best Buy, Neiman Marcus, Blackberry, UPS, AT&T and more to deister.
Johnson is the newest addition to deister's now-regionalized sales team which also includes Johan Stolwijk and Glenn Burger, regional directors for the west and the north respectively. The re-structured team has evolved Stolwijk's and Burger's roles from product development to product sales, service and support. The three will be spearheading the company's continued push to not only develop and service business, but to act as educators to clients and the industry at-large in all areas of access control, RFID and electronic key and asset management. In additional, each regional manager will be supervising, training and supporting manufacturer's reps throughout their region. Rounding out the team is Barbara Jenner, serving in the role of sales support and managing contracts and order traffic for the entire group.
