Diebold's Central de Alarmas Adler offers Internet monitoring

NORTH CANTON, Ohio--Central de Alarmas Adler, a subsidiary of Diebold, now offers Internet alarm monitoring to its commercial and residential customers in Mexico.
The service works by transmitting a secure signal from an alarm panel through a data network connection to the central station.
"By using a network connection, Internet monitoring customers save money by avoiding the cost of adding and maintaining an additional phone line and paying for long distance charges between the alarm panel and the central station," said Alberto Esquivel, general manager of Central de Alarmas Adler, in a written statement.
The operation, based in Monterrey, Mexico, is a security systems integrator that specializes in monitoring services, security systems, CCTV and fire systems.
