EMCOR wins Mich. hospital contract

NORWALK, Conn.--EMCOR Group announced on June 3 that its subsidiary, Dynalectric Michigan, will design and install the fire alarm and detection systems in the University of Michigan’s new Mott Children’s and Women’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. The hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2011.
In a prepared statement, Alan A. Low, president and CEO of Dynalectric Company of Michigan, said: “The protection of healthcare facilities is some of the most important work we do. Our work at Mott Children’s and Women’s Hospital, which promises to be one of the most technologically advanced facilities of its kind, is just the latest example of our capabilities in this sector.â€Â
