The fall conference season kicks off

Back-to-back conferences: ASIS International in Dallas and ISC in New York City It’s that time of year again. This year’s fall conferences are just around the corner. First up is ASIS International’s 50th Annual Seminar and Exhibits. The show, which will take place in Dallas from Sept. 27-30 will feature 135 educational sessions on security topics and emerging issues, and more than 800 exhibitors in 2,100 booths spread across the convention floor. Rudolph Guiliani will be the keynote speaker for the event. A special focus on Homeland Security will highlight a variety of issues on this topic. And of course, numerous opportunities to network with fellow security industry experts and some fun thrown in to balance out the offerings. ISC East follows the Dallas show. This year the event returns to New York at the Jacob Javits Convention Center on Nov. 3-4. ISC East will showcase more than 400 exhibitors. Attendees such as installers, integrators, corporate security professionals, government professional or corporate facility protection experts are encouraged to attend. This year’s ISC East is scheduled for two days in New York, reduced from the normally scheduled three days, but the hours are extended - from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 3 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 4. ISC East 2004 is being sponsored by the Security Industry Association, and is endorsed by the National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association.
