GTSI, Bryant, install NICE system at Canaveral Port

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla.--GTSI, a government contractor, and systems integrator Bryant Integrated Technologies will install a NiceVision Net solution to replace the Canaveral Port Authority’s current analog surveillance system with an enterprise-class, high availability open platform IP video surveillance system. The NiceVision Net solution includes network video recorders (NVRs), intelligent edge devices (encoders), a Virtual Matrix (for video wall management) and NiceVision ControlCenter which will help Port Canaveral’s operators detect, verify, resolve and investigate security events quickly and effectively. The Port’s NiceVision Net system features the NVE1002/XT encoder, a highly resilient extended temperature encoding device that stands up to harsh, outdoor environmental conditions. The system’s open architecture also enables seamless integration to third-party sensors, access control devices, cameras, keyboards and security software.
