Guidepost Solutions appoints new chief strategy officer

NEW YORK—Guidepost Solutions, a global investigations and security company with expertise in designing and managing the installation of physical security and life safety systems, on Aug. 18 announced it has appointed industry veteran Matthew Wharton as senior vice president and chief strategy officer. Wharton will assist the executive leadership of Guidepost in developing and executing the overall strategic direction of the company.
Wharton will be responsible for optimizing the organic growth of Guidepost by driving key cross-selling initiatives and strengthening the value proposition of each business unit. Wharton will also serve as a senior executive on the Guidepost acquisition team, identifying opportunities for capital investments and integrating new business units into the company's revenue and profitability landscape.
