ImageWare inks deal worth $520,000

January 6, 2005 SAN DIEGO - ImageWare Systems, a supplier of identity management products, has inked a products and services deal valued at $520,000 with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. LASD will deploy ImageWare Systems’ IWS Law Enforcement product suite throughout its correctional facilities within Los Angeles county. The products will be used for inmate identification purposes, including to document and track inmate photographs and movements. ImageWare began work on the project last quarter, and the company expects to complete the work during the first quarter of 2006. ImageWare provides biometric, secure credential, law enforcement and digital imaging technologies.
