IP-ready security conference picks 2006 dates

SAVANNAH, Ga.--After a successful inaugural year, the TechSec Solutions Conference returns in 2006--this time the event will be held at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa from Feb. 26 to 28. The conference centers around IP-ready security technologies and brings together systems integrators, end users, consultants and security product manufacturers to talk about this ongoing change in the industry. This year's event attracted 200 attendees and was held at the Ritz-Carlton in Sarasota, Fla., from Feb. 27 to March 1. Featured speakers at the event included William Crowell, former deputy director of the National Security Agency; Alan Brill, senior managing director, technology services, at Kroll Ontrack; Troy Smith, information risk and security practice, Marsh USA; and Fredrik Nilsson, general manager of Axis Communications.
