LVT combines integration, new cameras to go distance

AMERICAN FORK, Utah — LiveView Technologies (LVT), a provider of customizable mobile surveillance solutions, says an integration with Immix and the launch of two new cameras further empower security leaders to monitor and protect a range of environments.

According to LVT, more than 94% of Fortune 100 retailers use the company’s advanced mobile surveillance units and security solutions.

"LVT’s new cameras give our customers greater control in distinct situations,” said Steve Lindsey, LVT CTO. “Our long-range fixed thermal cameras greatly improve the distance that can be secured, meaning our customers can protect larger spaces or the same space with fewer security units. One LVT unit can now cover and record a 2,400-foot distance with superb movement tracking in complete darkness. The new fisheye camera adds additional intelligence at the base of the unit and is great for situational awareness. Together, these cameras allow our customers to secure a larger distance than ever before.”

Both cameras are NDAA-compliant, can be deployed rapidly, and are capable of running different modes to perform various missions throughout the day, Lindsey says.

Thanks to the integration, Immix users can now also seamlessly access their LVT cameras alongside other security products for full network control, including LVT alert delivery and management, light toggling and the ability to play prerecorded sounds.

“Immix prides itself on offering our customers choices in what types of solutions they can monitor and, thus, what services they can deliver to their clients,” said Immix CEO Chris Brown. “By integrating with LVT’s solar-powered mobile surveillance units, Immix customers have even more flexibility in building the optimal security system for their needs.”
