CANTON, Mass.--MAC Systems contracted in June with the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Center based in Central Falls, R.I., to upgrade the center's security system.
The systems integrator will install cell control equipment, CCTV cameras, digital video recorders, and access control using smart card technology and biometrics, as well as visitor management software and command center equipment into the 302-bed detention facility.
MAC Systems Account Manger Glen Heywood, said that installation in a security facility must be met with product coordination and execution.
The company, a SecurityNet member, will incorporate technology such as Wonderware and Vindicator software, HID smartcards, Bioscrypt fingerprint biometrics and Pelco CCTV cameras and digital video recorders.
