March Networks inks deployment deal with Fifth Third Bank

December 2, 2004 OTTAWA - Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati has inked a deal to retrofit its operations with equipment designed by March Networks, a provider of digital video security systems. As a result of the deal, Fifth Third Bank will retrofit its retail branches and corporate facilities with networked digital video recorders and enterprise management suite software designed by March Networks, based here. The multi-site, IP-networked safety and security installation will include replacing analog-based CCTV systems with March Networks’ 4210 DVR and 4410 DVR products. Fifth Third Bank will also implement the company’s banking assistant software to link ATM and teller transaction records with synchronized video. Fifth Third Bank, one of the 15 largest financial services firm in the United States, maintains 17 affiliates in the states of Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee and West Virginia. Both companies expect the work to be completed by the end of 2005.
