Microsoft and Saflink join forces

July 15, 2004 BELLEVUE, Wash. - Saflink Corp., a provider of biometric security solutions, and Microsoft Corp. have announced that they have formed a strategic partnership to deliver security solutions to homeland security programs. Saflink and Microsoft will develop border control and identity management projects based on Microsoft's .NET platform. The products will assist the Department of Homeland Security, along with the other government agencies and private enterprises, in increasing security and operational efficiency. Saflink has been involved with a number of major projects recently, including the Accenture-led U.S. Visit program.
