NBFAA to offer new residential installation training

IRVING, Texas--The National Burglar & Fire Alarm Association yesterday announced that it will provide new courses for security installers who would like to expand their businesses by offering the installation of home audio, theater and networking.
The courses will be offered by the NBFAA's National Training School as the result of a new partnership between NBFAA and Bedrock Learning, a company that provides comprehensive training solutions for residential technology professionals.
NTS, which offers both traditional classroom and online business courses, will now offer these courses online. Courses in this track will include: Introduction of Residential Technologies; Fundamentals of Structured Wiring; Whole House Audio Technology and Distribution; and Home Networking for Installers.
NBFAA members will receive a discount on course tuition and materials. Courses are accredited for NBFAA/NTS continuing education units. For more information visit www.alarm.org.
