NFPA announces fire week theme Brief

QUINCY, Mass.--The National Fire Protection Association announced the theme of Fire Prevention Week 2005, which begins October 9, is candle safety in the home.
The motto of the fire prevention awareness campaign is, "Use candles with care: When you go out, blow out!" According to the association, 90 percent of candle fires happen in residential environments.
