SOUTHPORT, Conn.--DiversityBusiness.com, a web site located here that focuses on multicultural aspects of the business world, released this week its seventh annual Div500, a listing of the United States' 500 largest woman-owned businesses in the U.S. The largest security-industry company to make the list was North American Video, a security systems integrator owned by Cynthia Freschi, which ranked 72nd on the list. The Brick, N.J., company is listed as having brought in $40 million in 2005 revenues.
At the top of the list is Omega World Travel, based in Farifax, Va., with $1.3 billion in 2005 revenues and owned by Linda Lossing.
Other security companies in the top 100 include man-guarding firm Levy Security at 94, based in Chicago and owned by Debby Levy; and at 95, Security Vault Works, an installer of turnkey vault solutions to the financial industry based in Laurel, Md., and owned by Linda Abell.
