OzVision unveils online training courses for CEU credit

WOBURN, Mass. and LOUISVILLE, Ky.--OzVision, a developer and provider of secure remote video platforms, services and monitoring, is ready to launch a series of online training modules for the OzVision suite of products. The OzVision Online Training Series was designed by the Kentucky-based CMOOR Group and is available for perusal at http://www.ozvisiontraining.com.

Similar in design to the Central Station Operators Online Training courses the CMOOR Group implemented for the CSAA (search for "CIA Security wins CSAA Five Diamond Certification" at Security Systems News), OzVision's courses will earn students continuing education credits they can use toward renewing their industry credentials.

OzVision founder and president of security Avi Lupo believes there is currently a real need for accessible training. "We're an integrated solution into all the leading automation companies in the industry, such as Siemens, Dice, Bold, MAS, and others. Many of the leading third-party monitoring stations, such as Rapid Response, E24, SentryNet, and others are up and running with this platform. Some of the other large companies in the industry, such as Guardian Alarm in Pittsburgh, Guardian Alarm in Detroit, Bay Alarm in California, and many other SNA members are up and running with our system as well," Lupo said. "There was a need for education."

There will be a total of three courses in the OzVision Online Training Series, beginning with the first course prepared for release in late March 2009. The first course is focused on sales and the features and benefits of the OzVision suite of products. The second course is an operations course designed around user features, and function, while the third is technical in nature and is geared toward installation.

CMOOR Group president Connie Moorehead said there are numerous reasons to take the training, but the most attractive is continuing education. "The course will be approved for continuing education credits, so if someone has an industry certification, this course will assist them in maintaining that," Moorehead said. "It will be approved through NTS or NBFAA, it will be probably approved through BICSI as well, and we will probably go ahead and get approval through ASIS ... It's a value-added service."

To pre-order, contact The CMOOR Group at 502-254-1590. The course is $50 per student and volume discounts are available.
