S2 Security boosts engineering team with Glenn Snyder as VP of engineering

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - S2 Security, the manufacturer of the S2 NetBox and S2 Enterprise integrated IP-based physical security systems, on July 20 announced Glenn Snyder has joined the company as vice president of Engineering. Snyder will be responsible for managing S2's team of engineers.
S2's policy of reinvesting profits in the company has helped drive new product development and allowed the company to grow its engineering team to meet increasing demand. The addition of Snyder rounds out the S2 engineering team and helps position S2 Security to continue to deliver.
Snyder brings more than 25 years of high-tech and entrepreneurial experience to his position at S2 Security. Prior to joining the company, Snyder was an independent consultant specializing in engineering management for start-ups and emerging companies. He has also served as the vice president of Engineering at several successful start-up organizations, including Cashstar.com, Black Duck Software, and edocs, Inc. Snyder has also served as a principal software engineer at OrderTrust Inc. and spent more than a decade with Hewlett-Packard Company in various engineering roles.
